Magic Kingdom 7/7/06

This was probably our best day.

It started with a (well, a car ride, but once we got to the parking lot) a Boat ride. You can see Space Mountain just to the left of John's head.

The first place we went, of course, was the Pirates of the Caribbean!!!

... And of course, there was some slight amount of sibling rivalry...

We were treated to views of the 3 Jonny Depp Animatronics. Here is a very poor picture of one.

It was cloudy, but still quite hot and humid.

Then it started to rain and rain hard! Most people ran for cover or put on ponchos. But we prefer to ride the covered People Mover so we could enjoy a bird's eye view of them all scrambling in a nice dry place. :-)

Jenny can handle Space Mountain, but the People mover makes her nauseous. We are heading for a usually very dark look at the inside of Space Mountain. Normally, you can just barely see the coaster cars racing around in the dark.

Once inside Space Mountain, we see that they are trouble shooting with the lights on. That's a rare sight.

Now Jenny is happy!

Now for a nice rocket ride in the rain!

John demands food... "Now!"

Ok Ok! Here we are eating inside where it is dry with another nice view of all the people outside getting wet. Actually, if you look at Jenny, you can tell she is freezing! We are all rather wet, and although the restaurant is dry, it is running the Air Conditioner full blast. The waiter asked if he could do anything else for us. I asked "Can you turn up the heat?"

After a little shopping, we have some dryer, warmer clothes to wear.
Well, that was a long day, but we are still smiling! Happiest place on earth!
